Montgomery is a small New York town with a rich history. These paintings give you a sense of what my hometown was like a hundred years ago. These paintings are based on historic photos by William Crabtree, loaned to me by a previous town historian, Robert L. Williams. I combined my knowledge of the area from plein air paintings with the historic b&w photos to create colorful glimpses of a time long gone.
